Reservations
Once you have selected a cottage, please contact us by e-mail for inquiries.
Rates shown for each cottage do not include required federal and provincial taxes.
Pet fee, where allowed, is $50/pet.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. on the day of your departure. There is NO REFUND for late arrival or early departure.
Madawaska River Cottages rules regarding music, noise, use of the firepit, parking, and other use of the property are outlined in your cottage booklet. Guests are expected to note and abide by these rules to ensure the comfort and pleasure of all. We do not allow behaviour that is disruptive to other guests.
Deposits
A refundable damage deposit is $300.
50% of the total rental fee is required to confirm your reservation. We accept e-transfers.
Full balance is due 15 days before check-in.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations 30 days or more we will fully refund the fee. There is no refund if cancelled less than 30 days before check in date. If booked less than 30 days before check in, there is no refund in case of cancellation.
Discounts
10% off second and succeeding weeks in the off season only.
Minimum stay is one week.
Please Note:
MRC is not responsible for damage or loss of guests' personal property, however caused.
Please note that river current is strong and you should swim with caution. Children should not be allowed to swim without adult supervision.
Use of canoes and kayaks is on your own risk. Never use them without life west and/or helmets.
We do provide some life jackets but guests are strongly adviced to bring their own as we can not provide all sizes.
Please take your garbage with you. Otherwise $30 garbage disposal fee will be charged from your deposit.
